Richard and Rachel are deeply in love
but their life together ends when
Rachel dies in a tragic accident. Richard, unable to cope with the idea
that there will be no more ‘laters’ with Rachel, decides that death
doesn’t have to be the end….
Based on the short story by acclaimed writer Michael Marshall Smith.
About the director
Simon Duric got into film when, as a young boy, he first saw Jason And
The Argonauts and then spent many hours drawing what was on the screen.
After two failed stints in art school and some time managing bars and
clubs instead, he started freelance
illustration work for magazines, books and albums and, in 2001, was
nominated for The British Fantasy Society Best Artist Of The Year Award
– and was beaten by Jim Burns, who worked on Blade Runner. Simon soon
moved on to storyboarding and, over the last six years, has worked on
hundreds of commercials and music videos as well as feature films,
including The Woman In Black , Sherlock Holmes, The Descent 2 and Eden
Lake, and for two of his all-time favourite directors, Richard Stanley
and Jonathan Glazer.
